Unified Converged Tech ("UCT", "we", "our", or "us") values privacy and is committed to handling information responsibly and transparently.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use, store, disclose, and safeguard information when you access our website, interact with our services, or communicate with us.
Who We Are (Data Controller)
Unified Converged Tech is the controller responsible for personal information processed through this website. We operate through regional entities (United Kingdom, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and South Africa); the entity responsible for a given engagement is the one issuing the relevant quotation, invoice, or agreement.
For any privacy, data-protection, or data-subject request, contact legal@unifiedconverged.tech.
Lawful Basis for Processing
Where data-protection law (including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR) applies, we rely on the following bases: your consent (for optional analytics cookies); the steps necessary to respond to an enquiry and take pre-contract steps at your request (for the contact form); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the website; and compliance with legal obligations.
Information We May Collect
We may collect information including:
- Name and contact information
- Company or organisation details
- Email addresses and phone numbers
- Technical and device information
- IP address and browser metadata
- Website interaction and usage data
- Information voluntarily submitted through forms, communications, or support requests
How Information May Be Used
Information may be used to:
- Respond to enquiries and requests
- Deliver and support services
- Improve website performance and user experience
- Maintain operational security
- Monitor platform reliability and performance
- Communicate relevant updates or information
- Meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations
Contact Form
When you submit the website contact form, the information you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number, company website, country, areas of interest, indicative budget, and your message) is sent to us by email so we can respond to your enquiry. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Email delivery is handled by Resend, our email-delivery processor. To deliver the message, the submission is processed by Resend and may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Analytics & Cookies
We use analytics technologies, including Google Analytics and Zoho PageSense, to understand website usage and improve the experience. Analytics cookies and tracking technologies are only set after you accept them via our cookie consent control. Until then, analytics tracking is disabled by default.
Strictly necessary technologies required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice do not require consent. You can accept or reject optional analytics cookies through our cookie consent banner.
Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with processors and partners where necessary to support service delivery, operational requirements, security, compliance, or business functionality — currently our email-delivery processor (Resend), our analytics providers (Google Analytics and Zoho PageSense, subject to consent), and our hosting and content infrastructure.
International Transfers
We operate across multiple regions and some processors (including Resend and Google) are based in or process data in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, EEA, or another region whose laws require it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism.
Data Retention
Contact-form enquiries are retained in our email systems only for as long as necessary to handle and follow up on the enquiry and for related legitimate business and record-keeping purposes, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. Other information is kept for periods considered reasonably necessary for operational, legal, security, or regulatory purposes.
Security Measures
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards intended to help protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.
Your Rights
Depending on applicable laws and jurisdiction, individuals may have rights relating to:
- Access to information
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion requests
- Restriction or objection to processing
- Data portability requests
- Withdrawing consent (including analytics cookies) at any time
- Lodging a complaint with a relevant supervisory authority (for example, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office)
To exercise any of these rights, contact legal@unifiedconverged.tech. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
